It's the first issue of a six-part series about this really big diamond which is sought after by a bunch of vampire-like monsters, and Corrigan's brother has it. Looks to be a pretty good storyline, but this first issue really doesn't have much in it. Of course, if you do plan to follow the story, you really do need to pick up this issue.

  • WOLVERINE #11:
"Brother's Keeper: Pt. 1 of 6, 'The Gehenna Stone Affair"

    IN THIS ISSUE:

The story begins off with a scene where two vampire-type people breaks into the San Francisco Museum of Antiques to steal a priceless diamond; only to discover that the diamond was a fake.

Back in Madripoor, Archie asks Logan if he would accompany him back to San Francisco because he had received word that his brother, Bert Corrigan, who was holding the family's wealth, had been hauled into court by their evil sister Ruth who wanted Bert to be declared incompetent, and thus, she would assume the wealth of the family, and only Archie could stop that. Logan was really hesistant at first but places his decision on this fight that they were walking by: he goes if the guy flies out the window, he stays in Madripoor if the guy flies out the door. He flies out the window, Logan leaves with Archie to San Francsco. Drew also comes along since San Francisco was her old town.

Back in San Francisco, Archie tells Logan how Bert was such a big movie buff. They meet Bert. Later on, as they were leaving, Logan suggests to Archie that maybe they should've stayed just to make sure he showed up the next day to court, but Archie says the family butler Jakes will see that Bert gets there.

Meanwhile, Drew heads back to her old office there. A Mr. Tuttle later pays a visit to her, and asks her to investigate the diamond matter for him and the museum.

Next day in court, Bert shows up late. Tension flares as Bert and Ruth gets into a shouting match. Bert later crashes in on a horse, as he was being chased down by those vampire-like demons.
