About Omega Red |
Created by the Russians
during the Cold War era, Omega Red was cryogenically frozen because
he was found to be psychotic and virtually uncontrollable. But, he was
unfrozen recently. In his never-ending search for the carbonadium
synthesizer, which would stablize his body and sustain his life, he
had run across Wolverine and the X-Men in X-Men (vol. 2) #4-7,
believing that Wolverine knew the wearabouts of the carbonadium
synthesizer. But, the X-Men defeated him eventually then by by
Generation X's Chamber, and most recently, by Maverick (in his final
stages of the Legacy Virus) and two of his allies in Maverick's latest
miniseries (Jan '97). | |
