Once Wolverine's "sensei" in
the martial arts, he was Logan's friend until he threatened to kill
Kitty Pryde. At that point, Wolverine was forced to kill him, but
later in Wolverine #89, his spirit returned to haunt Wolverine.
Wolverine was forced to slice the mask of Ogun into two slices at that
point.
