About The Hunter in Darkness |
A mystical being, the Hunter
in Darkness was encountered by Wolverine in the Canadian wilderness,
where Wolverine freed it from a trap. Known as "puppy" by Elsie Dee,
it currently still roams free in Canada, but its bond to Wolverine
for helping it still exists. The last time Wolverine and the Hunter in
Darkness met was in Wolverine #83 to Wolverine #84 where
Logan and it fought. Logan thought it was a different Hunter in
Darkness because he couldn't recognisze the scent, but he didn't
realize that during Elsie Dee and Albert's time travel (with the real
Hunter in Darkness tagging along), they had left him in a different
time period with others of his kind, and he had became their leader.
Over the years, he had grown older, and Logan was quite startled to
discover in Wolverine #84 that the Hunter in Darkness had grown
so old since the last time he had encountered the Hunter in Darkness
was not that long ago (Wolverine #34). |
