Later that evening Jean was still awake pondering how they had time traveled. She then started to probe Logan's dreams. He was definitely having a nightmare. All of his arch enemies were beating on him at once. Just as the dream finally ended she heard a crashing noise from downstairs.

((Logan!))

((Yeah?))

((I heard something!))

((Knock an arrow and go to onto the porch, I'll check the door.))

They prepared for an attack. Sure enough, there was one. Uncountable amounts of ninja poured through the inn, from the roof, from the walls; even from the basement. The two X-Men battled furiously trying to hold the ninja back.

((This ain't working Jean; let's switch to powers))

((Fine by me))

Logan dropped his sword apparently in surrender. Two ninja grabbed his hands in an attempt to hold him down. He smiled up at them and said. {I don't think so you samurai wanna-be.}

{Ha, he thinks that he could resist us} laughed one ninja.

{You better believe I can.} Now it was Wolverine talking.

"SNIKT, SNIKT"

{ARRGGG} cried the two ninja that were holding him.

The two ninja glanced down to the floor at their two disconnected hands laying in a pile of blood.

Wolverine sprung up slicing everything in arm's reach, and a little bit farther.

Jean was rendered unconscious by a blow from a pair of numb-chuck. Despite Wolverine's efforts the ninja took them by sheer force of numbers.

The last thing that Logan remembered was a sharp pain in his arm ... kinda like a needle.
