"First off, whats your relationship with Crowsfoot? He's probably old enough to be yer great-grandaddy."

"Hardly. I'm a lot older than I look, He's my grandfather. Why are you after him?"

"Yer Grandfather?! No wonder ya got so pissed. Some years back, an enemy of mine found me, was lead to me by yer granddaddy, said he didn't want no white man in his lands. Made no sense, my enemy was a white man. Heard a lil'while back of a man who had the same name and same ideals was livin' in Vancouver. One of my friend's contacts led me to you. Y'know the rest."

"You have a friend whose contact is Spit? You must be scrappin the barrel for friends." Raven eyed up Logan.

Logan just shrugged, "He's more an associate that friend, don't have many friends. Most that I do got other.. loyalties first." He looked at her and watched her study him, "Next question, where can I find him?"

Raven shook her head "Give me time to consider that question, ask something else."

"Gonna refuse, gonna have ta answer two questions," warned Wolverine.

"That's fair." Raven didn't want to give this psychotic her grandfather's address, she had to know more about him. If that meant giving up on some of her own precious secrets then so be it.

"Yer healin' factor, how good is it?" Logan suddenly asked. "Ain't met anyone else with it."

Raven put two and two together. "You're a healer as well? That would explain how you kept after me all day. It would explain also why your system doesn't completely and utterly reject those claws of yours. My 'healing factor' as you call it can heal an entire limb in a minute; it can heal multiple bullet wounds in less."

"Good as mine used ta be, before I got the claws. They slow things down a lot. Second question, what team ya with or are ya a loner?"

"Vancouver Vigilantes." Raven answered with a wince. Transmute would have hissy fits over the breach of security.

"Never heard of 'em."

"We keep a pretty low profile." Raven looked around. "Look, could we talk elsewhere? This is pretty suspicious looking, and I don't like sitting around in a shredded t-shirt and jeans with blood all over them."

"And where would you suggest, lady? And how'd I know yer not just gonna take off again?"

"Second answer first, I give you my word of honour that I will meet you at the appointed place, to answer the first, I shall meet you at the rest stop just outside of Abortsford heading towards Chilliwack off of the number one highway. Think you can find it?"

"Know it. When ya be there? Yer word seems good, and if it ain't, you'll regret it."

Raven sighed. "I'll be there after I've gone home to get changed. About an hour and a half from now. Acceptable?"

Logan nodded. "Good enough." He watched her climb out of his jeep and climb onto her 'bike. He watched her rev the motor and carefully drive out of the dark parking lot. He heard her go over the old army bridge before he started up his engine. For some strange reason, he knew he could trust her to meet him.
